Less than 300 days to go until Mall of the Emirates opens

Already, over 90% of the mall has already been leased, and upon completion, the complex, located on Sheikh Zayed road in Dubai, will include over 2.4 million square feet of prime shopping, leisure and entertainment space, positioning it as one of the largest malls outside North America. Work on the project has progressed significantly over the past couple of months with the signing of the largest Harvey Nichols department store in the region and the addition of the largest Carrefour hypermarket in Dubai, as well as a 24,000 square feet Virgin Megastore. It will also include the Dubai Community Theatre & Art Centre which provides a platform for shoppers and visitors to bring back culture, art and music into their lives, a 14-screen multiplex cinema, six large furniture retailers such as Home Centre, The One, ID Design, and Tepe Home and two hotels with over 900-rooms.

With the recent naming of Ski Dubai, the region's first indoor ski resort, featuring one of the world's longest indoor ski slopes, the mall has taken on a new identity, positioned as a destination in itself within the region.

In less than a year, Mall of the Emirates, the most exciting retail and leisure complex in the Arab world and one of the biggest malls outside North America, will open to the public offering shopping, entertainment and skiing all in one place.
