Key Information Technology uses The Hotel Show to launch new business drive

UAE-based Key Information Technology, a leading supplier of IT solutions to the Middle East hospitality industry, launches a range of new products at The Hotel Show in Dubai next month as part of a major business drive in the region.
KIT will use The Hotel Show, taking place at Airport Expo Dubai from May 20-22, as a platform to introduce TOPAS, a reporting tool for Micros-Fidelio products, the Fidelio Restaurant Reservation System, OPAL, a reporting tool for Fidelio Front office systems, Data Warehousing, Fidelio F&B Version 8, an Oracle-based system for inventory and purchase, as well as hand held systems for Micros.
Masood Al Janahi, KIT's managing director, said the company was taking steps to capitalise on major expansion in the Middle East hospitality industry over the next few years, and the region's leading hotel supplies exhibition was vital to its sales and marketing efforts.
The company, which attracted 300 visitors at the Hotel Show last year, has offices in Dubai, Abu-Dhabi and Bahrain, and has partnerships across the Middle East with dedicated consultants, installers, support and project teams.
Organised by Streamline Marketing and attracting a line-up of 150 exhibitors from around the world, The Hotel Show will also be an important new product launch platform for Masonlite Multimedia, the Dubai-based point of information hardware distribution and support specialists.
Exhibiting at the show for the first time, General Manager Rob Partos said the company will introduce a new hotel information system from German manufacturers, Conrac, which runs on plasma displays. Other new products include the latest flat panel touchscreens for point-of-sale applications, and a new point-of- information diskless, solid state video playback system developed by the company in the UAE.
Making a guest appearance on Masonlite's stand, Dubai-based DotCom will demonstrate the latest version of its locally produced point-of-sale software on Masonlite's StealthTouch touchscreen hardware.

Running alongside this year's event will be The Office Exhibition, which gives office suppliers a valuable introduction to the rapidly expanding Middle East office development sector.
