HSBC launches 'SMS Alerts' service in the UAE

HSBC has announced the launch of SMS Alerts for its customers in the UAE.

The new service will deliver information on bank account activity direct to customers' mobile phones.

Once they have signed on to this service, customers will receive regular account balance / transaction related information, including deposit / credit transaction, withdrawal and debit transaction, account balance and term deposit maturity notifications.

"The launch of SMS Alerts service offers a new dimension for customers of HSBC Bank Middle East Limited in the UAE. It allows them to stay updated on their account activity and it reflects their busy lifestyle," said Nader Haghighat, Head of Distribution and Sales, HSBC Bank Middle East Limited.
