4th Annual Middle East District Cooling Summit to take place in Doha

Focusing on leveraging District Cooling technologies and solutions, the 4th Annual Middle East DC (District Cooling) Summit will guide new districts and mega project developers to deploy more economical and energy efficient air-conditioned infrastructure.

The 4th installment of the highly successful Middle East DC Summit will take place between 25th and 27th November,2012 at the Grand Hyatt Doha, Qatar.

It will see participation not only from leading DC technology specialists from a global platform but also from Middle East based organizations who are advocating the use and adoption of District Cooling systems proactively.

The summit will host a high profile delegation that will include H.E. Eng. Essa Hilal Al-Kuwari and Eng. Ibrahim Al Sada from Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) along with other VIP's representing Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) - U.A.E, Saudi Tabreed District Cooling Company - KSA, Mace - Qatar (Mechanical & Civil Engineering Contractors Co Ltd), Qatar Foundation, Ministry of Electricity And Water - Kuwait, Qatar Cool, Marafeq - Qatar and Ministry of Municipality & Urban Planning - Qatar, to name a few.

Achieving energy and resource efficiency is on every national agenda but without concrete framework to mandate technologies such as District Cooling in rapid developmental regions, a vision for sustainability will take longer than planned.
