The 4th Edition of Saudi Arabia International Oil and Gas Exhibition kicks off in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Prince Mohammad bin Fahd, Governor of the Eastern Province officially opened the 4th Edition of the Saudi Arabia International Oil & Gas Exhibition, SAOGE 2012 in Dammam.
The Opening was attended by a number of the main Embassies including the new UK Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sir John Jenkins KCMG LVO, as well as Joey Hood, Consul General, US Embassy and H. E. Mogamat Sadick Jaffer, Ambassador for South Africa.
Day One got off to an excellent start as SAOGE welcomed 3795 industry representatives, and attendance is expected to continue to be high as the Exhibition offers an excellent platform for business, and allows the industry to network, learn and strengthen relationships.
The exhibitions plays host to several major multinational companies in Oil and gas companies who include Abdullah Fouad and Al Tamimi Group, SINOPEC, TAQA, GE Oil & Gas, Siemens, and Qatar Petroleum.
Participating companies come from various parts of the world to show their respective tools and technology to the sectors business leaders.
This year, as in the past years of SAOGE, the exhibition has attracted much attention from industry leaders, researchers and specialists in the industry.
Piero Zipoli, President of IES the Organisers said "We have now organised SAOGE for the fourth year and year on year we have increased the quality and scope of the event. The Kingdom holds a quarter of the worlds proven oil reserves and plays a vital role in meeting global energy and SAOGE provides the perfect opportunity to understand the large role played by the oil and gas sector and the business opportunities it presents to local and international companies."
More industry VIPs are expected to attend the Gala Dinner for SAOGE 2012 which will be hosted by the Organisers at the Sheraton Hotel in Dammam, and will include an Awards Ceremony for the Best Exhibition Stands.
