Supported by strong economic growth and development, Tameer is sure that the property development market will remain buoyant with various major projects coming up in the next few years.

Speaking at a press conference, Omar Ayesh, Chairman, Tameer said: "The economic boom we are witnessing allows us to develop and release major projects targeting different consumer segments based on pricing, location, interests and so on."

"Today, property investment is not limited to one sector, but is very broad in nature with major developments in all segments including commercial, residential, leisure, industrial etc. For example, we managed to sell the 80 million sq. feet, Umm Al Qwain-based Emirates Industrial Area in just 2 days at the Cityscape event. Our total sales volume at the event totaled Dhs. 700 million. These figures clearly show that any value-added property development in lines with the needs of the consumers will get a huge, positive response from the market." Added Ayesh.

Elaborating on the effects of competition in the UAE property market, Omar Ayesh further remarked: "Definitely, competition is important and necessary for growth in any industry. It is visible that high levels of competition have forced property development companies in the UAE to focus on quality, innovation and improved services, without raising prices dramatically. Increase in competition need not affect pricing as property development companies are getting higher returns through higher sales volumes. This is again made possible as each project is uniquely positioned to target a certain segment of the property market, thereby increasing opportunities and overall sales."

Continuing on Tameer's recent participation in the Cityscape event, Ayesh said: "We are delighted with our performance at Cityscape this year, highlighted by the release of the 60-storey Al Ameera Tower."

Strategically located between Sharjah and Dubai, the Al Ameera Tower is one of the tallest residential buildings in the region with 61 floors of luxurious flats, offices, shops, entertainment clubs and suites. The Ameera Tower has numerous aesthetic features to its credit, including a colored glass facade on the exterior and panoramic lifts. The architectural elegance of the building is complemented by the scenic ambience provided by the Al Khan Lake, Al Qasbaa Water Canal, Khalid Lake, and the Arabian Gulf.

"With wonderful civic amenities and luxurious facilities, the Al Ameera Tower is definitely going to be a prominent landmark within UAE's growing real-estate sector. Located only five minutes away from Dubai, the residential project is ideally situated, overlooking a breathtaking view of the waters of the Arabian Gulf." He added.
