CO-OP ISLAMI takes lead role at Arab Nutrition conference

The 'Real Halal' food producer confirmed that it is sponsoring the event that is focusing on nutrition, a hot topic in the region.

Experts and food scientists will be given a platform to raise some of the more urgent issues in the local food industry and offer solutions. Saleh Abdulla Lootah, Assistant General Manager of CO-OP ISLAMI Operations, said: "Such conferences help companies working in the nutritional sector identify new trends. We need a better understanding of consumer's nutritional needs, especially in terms of health, and I am positive that this meeting will provide that.
