Libyan Prime Minister, Shukri Ghanem and Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari are keynote speakers at the Arab Strategy Forum

Libyan Prime Minister, Shukri Ghanem and Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari will participate as keynote speakers in the Arab Strategy Forum, which is to be held in Dubai from December 13-15 2004 under the theme of 'The Arab World in 2020'.

The Libyan Prime Minister will address issues such as the vision of Libya, its strategic plans for a better future, and the steps taken to overcome development obstacles in the Arab world. He will also highlight the recent developments in the economic infrastructure of his country and the future investment opportunities.

Iraqi Foreign Minister will highlight the future of Iraq amidst the conflict it is facing as well as the ways through which Iraqis can achieve their goals. He will also highlight the possibility of building a new Iraq through the collaboration of Arabs.

The participation of the two keynote speakers will add value to the discussions and will help the Arab region plan and implement the necessary strategies to face obstacles. This will help decision makers envision the future of the Arab world and plan ahead to achieve better regional cooperation in all aspects.

Featuring government officials, heads of states, experts and academics from all over the world, the forum will discuss and outline the key factors that influence the region's regimes and the trends in governance. It will also discuss political reform and development and the march towards genuine democracy and the impact of the shift towards transparency.

Eight pre-eminent local and international organisations have come forward to offer their unstinted support for this year's Arab Strategy Forum. The premiere annual event has six Organising Partners and two Media Partners. They are Emirates National Oil Company Ltd (ENOC), Abraaj Capital, PricewaterhouseCooper, DaimlerChrysler, National Bank of Dubai and Gulf News, in addition to our Media Partners Al Sharq Al Awsat and CNN.
