Procter and Gamble Egypt gets results out of Microtech Infinity ERP Software

P&G Egypt implemented lately the financial and logistic modules to streamline its distributors financial, sales and distribution operations.

'P&G Distribution operations are unique & complex due to the vast range of brands and distribution outlets they operate' said Tamer Maher, the Vice President, Business Development in Microtech, 'We had to analyze their distribution process precisely in order to achieve the required goals.

Microtech Infinity ERP has linked all warehouses together with the distributions vans, giving the salesmen in their cars complete online information on stocks, sales, customer balances, invoices, etc. Using e-Space's PDA's (Personal Digital Assistants), the salesman will make and record the sale at the distribution point on his PDA. His stock is automatically adjusted; an invoice is issued, printed, and handed out to the customer. By day end, P&G has a complete accurate picture of all sales and stock, giving a solid ground for logistics, planning, and forecasting.

'P&G Egypt joins a list of state-of-art organizations that are running Microtech Infinity ERP solutions throughout the Middle East, including some multinationals like British American Tobacco, Vinci, Enser, Metro Market, Al-Hokair group, Rashideen Egypt and Al-Subeaei Group,' Maher said.
