Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort celebrates 2nd anniversary

Gaining a strong foothold in the leisure tourism segment with the completion of two successful years, Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort, Fujairah the award winning resort on the East Coast, has announced a fantastic celebratory offer to its customers.
Speaking on the occasion of the second birthday of the hotel Mr Patrick Antaki, General Manager, Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort, said that the hotel has made significant achievements over the two years and has successfully established itself as one of the leading new leisure destinations in the region.
Said Mr. Antaki, "From the first year in operation, we built up a strong base of clientele and through our dedication to excellence, set the stage for an exhilarating second year which we have just rounded off with an impressive year round average room occupancy reaching 83% as compared to 70% last year. Our market share has also doubled this year which further exemplifies our tremendous success rate."
In the tradition of setting high standards at tempting rates, the hotel has over the two years launched several exciting packages and deals to draw customers to the East Coast such as Mid week Medicine, summer and winter promotions which have seen immense popularity.
"The special rate that we are offering our customers is a token of our appreciation to all the 200,000 guest who have patronized us since the start of the hotel and is a reminder to those who haven't visited us to come and explore and see what they are missing out on. We promise to continue to spoil our guests with a fabulously diversified array of packages and services in the future."
Over the last two years, the hotel has crossed milestones in hospitality to offer the best services and facilities to guests. Some of the world-class facilities include a fully functional spa, Wellness centre featuring the recently opened Ayurvedic Centre and Cleopatra Beauty Rooms, a fine selection of restaurants such as Baywatch Village complex- an outdoor restaurant, Swaad- the first Indian restaurant at Le Meridien in UAE, Taste- offering Thai delicacies and the highly popular Astro Bar.
Earlier this year the hotel received two awards at the prestigious DEPA Middle East Hotel Awards held in Dubai for "Contribution to Tourism" & "Hotel Advertising Campaign of the Year" and scooped two awards at the prestigious MENA Travel Awards - Silver honours in two categories - Best Five Star Leisure Hotel & Best New Five Star Hotel.

A joint venture between Emirates Airlines and the Hotel and Resort Investment Company, Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort is located on a two kilometre sand beach, nestled between the Hajar Mountains and the Indian Ocean.
