- PRESS RELEASE
Leading construction material supplier Danube Building Materials FZCO is to set up Gulf's most modern kiln dry wood facility at Jebel Ali, as part of a Dhs. 17 million expansion, Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Chairman of Danube Group of Companies, announced today.
"The growing demand for wood has created a perennial shortage of kiln dry wood," said Mr. Rizwan Sajan. "We are strongly committed to the development of infrastructure that will enhance product quality. We have therefore invested in the best available technology for this project. When commissioned, the facility will substantially increase the availability of good quality dry wood in Dubai."
"Our existing factory, Danube Dekor, located in Jebel Ali, has received tremendous response because of the value-added services we offer to customers. Further, our participation in various exhibitions in the region has boosted interest in our products," Mr. Sajan added.
This has translated into actual orders that have impacted the business volumes. The number of employees has swelled to 400, a 30 % growth over the past year.

The newly established doors factory, Danube Doors, located in Al Quoz, Dubai, is negotiating some important tower projects.
