Samsung had organised the convention to review its last year's performance across key regional markets and also to outline its expansion strategy for the coming year. Distributors representing 13 countries from across the Middle East and Africa region participated in the day-long event.
Speaking at the convention, Mr. Sandeep Saihgal, Sales and Marketing Manager, Samsung Gulf Electronics said: "In 2004, Samsung unveiled an extensive range of advanced technology-enabled phones that wowed audiences across the region. In 2005 we will continue to deliver on this unrivalled technology benchmark that we have set and will further aspire to reinforce our market leadership position. The annual distributor conference gave us an ideal platform to share this vision with our partners and now we are fully prepared to rollout our expansion plan."
