DTCM making tourism industry players more aware about new projects

As part of its concerted efforts to better acquaint the emirate's tourism industry with information about major projects and infrastructure developments set to create significant impact on Dubai's booming economy, the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing recently organized a presentation on Dubai International Airport Expansion project for the key tourism sector players and officials.
Attended by nearly 100 representatives of tour operators and hoteliers, it was in response to requests by the tourism industry players for an update on the progress of the airport expansion.
The DTCM Deputy Manager Business Development, Ms. Afra Al Fahim, briefed the gathering on the main issues covered by the presentation. The presentation primarily focused on the airport expansion and the projected increase in passengers in the near future.
