  • PRESS RELEASE

The Emirates Airline Foundation has welcomed Damas Jewellers as sponsor for its donation envelopes placed on board all Emirates aircraft.

Passengers are invited to use the envelopes to make a donation to the charity to help fund its work in improving the lives of disadvantaged children around the world.

Emirates' Chairman, HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, said: "Our customers' support of the Emirates Airline Foundation is making a difference in the lives of children in a number of our destinations, giving them a better start in life.

"I am very pleased that Damas has made this kind gesture which will ensure that all funds donated by Emirates passengers will go towards the foundation's humanitarian projects."

Passengers' support of the Emirates Airline Foundation has recently helped fund eye-testing for some 10,000 children in India's Gujarat state, post-flood medical care for up to 22,000 women and children in northern Bangladesh, and essential supplies to orphans in Sri Lanka.
