Wataniya Telecom to enhance market success with new director

Wataniya Telecom, Kuwait's leading mobile services provider has today formally announced the appointment of Timo Everi in the role of Director of Sales, Marketing & Public Relations.
"We are very pleased to have Timo joining us and taking up the reigns of managing the direct relationships with our customers," said Harri Koponen, CEO and General Manager, Wataniya Telecom. "Marketing, Sales and Public Relations are an integral aspect of Wataniya Telecom's operations. We have great goals in mind for us as an organisation and more importantly, for our customers' benefit, and with Timo Everi's experience we will be able to achieve that."
Mr. Everi comes to Wataniya Telecom from an illustrious career in marketing and advertising, joining from infamous Hasan & Partners, ranked as one of the best agencies in Scandinavia, where he last served as an Executive Creative Director and as a member of the board. Timo Everi has been awarded with all major international creative awards and was a member of the Executive Jury at the Cannes Lions Advertising Film Festival in 2003.
"My ultimate aim here at Wataniya Telecom will be to build on our understanding of the customer, his needs and catering to them with high quality, innovative services," said Mr. Everi. "It's important to recognise that being a mobile operator, we do not sell technology; technology is simply the vehicle we use to deliver to our customers what they need and desire. Over the coming year this will be the underlying logic that will be driving both our actions, and the overall direction of Wataniya Telecom."
