UAE national lands coveted top security posting at DUBAL

Currently, 20% of DUBAL's entire workforce are UAE nationals, and locals now occupy a substantial 60% of all senior management positions.

"In line with the directions of HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Deputy Ruler of Dubai, the UAE Finance and Industry Minister and Chairman of DUBAL, we have promoted Mr. Al Abbar to this important position, as part of the company's on-going Emiratization program, which ensures DUBAL's long-term commitment in training UAE nationals to take over senior positions within the company, with all the adherent responsibilities to its many operations," said Mr. Saif Saeed Murooshid, General Manager, Human Resources, DUBAL.

The promotion of Mr. Al Abbar to the Security and Fire-Fighting Manager's position comes after he had undergone many extensive, in-house security and fire-fighting courses with DUBAL. Mr. Al Abbar has also been a dedicated and conscientious member of the DUBAL security team, ever since he first joined DUBAL in 1999, as a supervisor and part of the company's considerable security operations.
