Taj Palace Hotel Dubai to participate in ATM 2002

  • United Arab Emirates: Sunday, April 21 - 2002 at 11:24
  • PRESS RELEASE

The Taj Palace Hotel Dubai looks forward to building a stable base amongst hospitality competition in next month's 2002 Arabian Travel Market exhibition.

Fresh from the success achieved at the ITB Berlin and from the inquiries received at the MITT Show in Moscow, the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai is bent on promoting its Hotel Summer Packages including the Ayoma Spa luxuriating packages, which includes spa relaxation package and accommodation to suit any traveler desiring to stay at the beautiful Taj Palace Hotel Dubai.

In April 1st 2002, the Ayoma Spa introduced its signature Ayoma Spa Membership that offers members hosts of benefits including complimentary spa treatments and substantial discounts in any of the spa services and retail products.

The recent unveiling last February 2002 of the new executive guest service concept, the Taj Club Dubai Executive Floor, the five star hotel managed by Indian Hotels Company, boasts of executive floor rooms that cater specifically to the discerning business travelers. The sprawling second floor is where the Taj Club Dubai lounge is located offering business travelers dedicated lounge for their private breakfast, all-day refreshment and reception where they get assistance in last minute clerical business assistance from Taj Dubai's efficient staff.

Last year at the ATM 2002 exhibit, saw the proud entrance of the Taj Group in the UAE hospitality sector, as Taj Palace Hotel Dubai was unveiled on its pre-opening stage. Having created one of the outstanding stand in last year's ATM, Dubai looks set to witnessing anew a more elegant stand this year created by Leader Furniture, one of Dubai's most prominent furniture craft company.

Another ATM highlight will be the expansion plan of the Taj Group of Hotels in the Middle East region. Taj says it is pressing ahead with its regional expansion despite the downturn in the international travel industry, starting with the construction this year of the TAJ TOWERS, plus expansion planned for Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt and the rest of the Middle East.

Earlier this year, The Taj Group of Hotels announced a major Middle East expansion strategy, which includes the setting up of a regional office in Dubai. The group, which currently operates properties in Dubai, Yemen and Oman, says it is looking to position itself throughout the Middle East as a brand offering superior luxury and elegant sophistication.

"The Middle East will continue to propel to greater heights because of the outward vision of the UAE leaders as well as the drive of various GCC governments. The Middle East not only has a growing regional economy but also is making its presence felt with aggressive tourism campaigns on a global scale. Although the region has been plagued by political problems affecting neighbouring regions, we don't think these will deter the promotional efforts of the broad majority of GCC countries," said Yannick Poupon, general manager, Taj Palace Hotel Dubai.

Yannick Poupon adds, " Now with summer approaching, people are starting to make travel plans as accommodation rates will become more affordable and city activities more thriving as usual with the forthcoming Dubai Summer Surprise season. We are confident that travelers, leisure and business, will make us their preferred choice of residence during summer."

The only five star property in Dubai that adopted the "dry concept", the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai looks set to become Dubai's benchmark for superior service product creating in itself a niche market. In March this year, among the city hotels, Taj Palace Hotel Dubai achieved a soaring 93% occupancy rating bringing its ARR figure on a continuous upward trend.
"With this year's ATM exhibition, we are very optimistic about the continued surge of business happening in Dubai and the Taj Palace Hotel will definitely use its superior product to maximize in acquiring a greater slice of the market," ends Yannick Poupon.
