SWISS launches first-ever winter holiday brochure for Middle East travellers

SWISS, Switzerland's intercontinental airline is inviting Middle East travellers to experience the magic of winter in the Alps, with the launch of its first winter holiday brochure 'SWISS Experience'.
"SWISS Experience is our first holiday brochure, and we're delighted to launch this in time for the winter season. Travellers flying to Switzerland with SWISS can now book their accommodation while confirming flight details, ensuring hassle-free arrangements," said Felix Rodel, Area Manager, SWISS for Arabian Gulf.
Visitors to Switzerland have a selection of hotel packages to choose from, along with special discounts on ski-rental and ski-passes. With the country's reliable state-of-the-art rail system, conveniently connected to Zurich and Geneva airports, and its superb road network, the 'SWISS Experience' brochure offers the best of Switzerland and the neighbouring Alpine region.
"The brochure has been planned to suit different budgets, tastes and styles without burning a hole in travellers pockets. We have also included holiday options for France, Italy, Germany and Austria," added Rodel.
Travellers keen on experiencing a truly winter holiday can escape to Davos, Europe's highest town and Switzerland's largest winter sports centre, offering ski-ing, snowboarding and ice-skating. Alternatively, those looking for a tranquil, relaxing break can choose from a host of wellness hotels in Interlaken, Montreux, or Saas Fee. The winter brochure also offers a number of city breaks in Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Lausanne, Montreux, Lugano, Locarno, and Bern. First-class ski resorts in France, Italy, Germany and Austria are also available.
SWISS has created an efficient network that connects business and cultural centres globally, offering a trouble-free experience and excellent service in all classes, from economy to first class. SWISS currently operates a total of 31 weekly flights from the Middle East, including daily flights from Dubai, six weekly flights from Cairo, four weekly flights from Karachi, three weekly flights from Riyadh, Muscat, Abu Dhabi, Tehran, and two weekly flights from Jeddah.
The new SWISS Experience brochure is available at all SWISS offices and travel agents, as well as on www.swiss.com. Reservations can also be made through the SWISS sales counter at the Dnata airline centre in Dubai (Tel 04 3166672) and at the Abu Dhabi town office (Tel 02 6220159).
The new brochure will also be available at the Swiss Winter Festival in Abu Dhabi, held under the auspices of Dr François Barras, the Ambassador of Switzerland at the Beach Hotel Rotana on the 11th December 2002 from 5 to 10pm, followed by the Marina Mall from the 12th to the 18th December.
