Credit Suisse Asset Management appoints Nicolas Kahale as Head of Business Development and Relationship Management for the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa

Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) recently announced the appointment of Nicolas Kahale as head of Business Development and Relationship Management for the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.
Mr. Kahale brings to CSAM over eleven years experience in asset management marketing. He joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was an Executive Director and head of Business Development for the Middle East and New Markets. In that role, he initiated and developed relationships with pension funds, central banks, supranationals, corporations, banks, money managers and family offices. Prior to that, he was at Salomon Brothers Asset Management, where he had similar responsibilities.
"Nicolas is a highly skilled professional with a strong track record and an extensive set of key relationships in these markets," said Michael Kenneally, CSAM's Global Chief Executive Officer. "He is a terrific addition to the team, and we are very excited about having someone with his depth and breadth of experience joining us."
Mr. Kahale said, "CSAM has a strong global platform, and I look forward to working with the team to continue to deliver to clients the investment management solutions they require."
Mr. Kahale joins CSAM as a Managing Director and will operate out of London, Zurich and the Middle East.
