As part of a continuous drive to modernize and enlarge their fleet, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has taken delivery of 30 Chevrolet Luminas and 30 Chevrolet Caprices.

According to the police, the purchase reflects an ongoing commitment on the part of the Royal Oman Police to keep its ever-expanding fleet updated.

Chevrolet cars, which already form a significant part of ROP fleet, have proved to be highly reliable, powerful and easy to maintain. The new vehicles were specially equipped to suit ROP's unique needs with a range of special features including reinforced suspension and advanced braking systems.

Chevrolet cars form the backbone of police fleets across the region. The Saudi General Security Forces fleet alone comprises over 7000 Chevrolet Luminas.
