Scheduled to take place between 2 - 4 May 2005 at Dubai's World Trade Centre, over 550 participating companies are anticipated, presenting the best and the latest beauty products and equipment.

The "Beauty World" brand is internationally acclaimed as the benchmark for the beauty-care industry, with shows running around the world including in Germany, Japan and Argentina. According to the Dubai edition's exhibition manager, Diana Taylor, "it will be the largest trade event of its kind anywhere in the Middle East, covering 14.000 sqm exhibition space, focused exclusively on the beauty and wellness industry and attracting companies from all over the world."

One of the main reasons why Beauty World / Wellness & Spas Middle East has grown so much is the consistent growth in the cosmetics and beauty products sector. Diana Taylor said "the 2005 event is poised to break all records in terms of visitor and exhibitor numbers due to an extraordinary growth of the beauty market in the Arabian Gulf, which is estimated to grow at around 12% annually with a market value of approximately US $1.7 Billion."

Early estimates indicate that over 550 exhibitors from more than 40 countries will take part, including well known brands such as Artdeco, Max Care, LPG and Balnea. Reflecting the dynamic international trends, Beauty World / Wellness & Spas Middle East will feature the latest fashions in make-up and hair-care products together with fragrances, salon and spa equipment. After the successful introduction of the first dedicated Wellness & Spas Middle East exhibition at this year's show, Beauty World / Wellness & Spas Middle East 2005 will continue to feature a specialist platform for all suppliers of products and equipment aimed at the fast growing number spas, fitness and wellness centres.

Based upon the experience from the 9 previous events, visitor numbers have constantly risen. Next year's show is likely to top all records with over 8,000 visitors expected from countries as far away as Africa, Europe, the Indian subcontinent, the Far East, the CIS republics as well as within the Gulf region.

Another reason why Beauty World / Wellness & Spas Middle East prove so popular amongst visitors is because of its support from international associations in the beauty industry. This includes the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, Brazilian Toiletry, Perfumery & Cosmetic Association, German Cosmetic, Toiletry, Perfumery and Detergent Association, UBI France, the Thai Trade Centre and the South African Cosmetic Export Council.

Beauty World / Wellness & Spas Middle East 2005 is drawing upon the success factors of the 2004 show and will continue to develop and enhance an extensive programme of events, seminars, workshops and live demonstrations for the 2005 show featuring world renowned speakers and icons in the Beauty World.

Beauty World Middle East 2004 has set the level of excellence for next year's show which featured live stage master classes from internationally renowned makeup artist Horst Kirchberger - famous for numerous Vogue covers - working with top brands such as Channel and Estee Lauder and celebrity models including Claudia Schiffer and Linda Evangelista all of which attracted a wide audience of professionals.

Hairdressers from around the Middle East were given the unique opportunity to see daily live performance from well known European hair artists, Eduard Strum and Hassan Cuven. Both of which have created stylish images for fashion, television and film stars.
