NEC today announced the latest addition to the comprehensive NEC Express5800 server family.
With the Express5800/110Rf-1 Server, NEC delivers an ultra slim server designed to deliver maximum performance at low cost.
Taking advantage of the latest Intel® Pentium® 4 processors with Hyper-Threading at frequencies of up to 3.8GHz with 1MB of L2 cache, on the latest Intel® E7221 chipset with an 800MHz front side bus, the NEC Express5800/110Rf-1 provides for optimal application processing throughput.
The Express5800/110Rf-1 also features Intel® Extended Memory 64 Technology enabling easy migration to 64-bit computing, securing investment protection and enhancing performance.
The Express5800/110Rf-1 comes in both SATA and SCSI storage configurations, with HostRAID for data protection, and integrates dual channel gigabit Ethernet connectivity making it the ideal solution for edge-of-network and Internet service provision.
