EDUTECH addresses the challenges of nationalization in the Middle East at Online Educa Berlin Conference

The Middle East E-Learning Forum and Exchange, designed to fit the needs of business, academic and government representatives from the Middle Eastern countries and the Western world, was attended by over 130 participants. The aim of the Middle East E-Learning Forum was to provide an overview of the e-learning market in the Middle East, its status, current issues and obstacles, definitions and the scope of academic, governmental and corporate e-learning projects.

Mr. Rajith Nair, Head-Content Solutions of EDUTECH was invited to present how, Customized eLearning solutions meet the challenges of training personnel using latest technologies while having to cope with aggressive nationalization policies. The Banking and Oil & Gas Industry being the forerunners in the region to implement nationalization identify effective ways to address training for their national staff as well as optimize on the knowledge and experience of the expat workforce.

The Oil Company has since reduced its training backlog from several years to a few months while the Bank has been able to deliver training on new processes and the new banking application to it employees, says Mr. Rajith Nair, Head -Content Solutions of EDUTECH". "It was an innovative experience to be addressing to the Middle East representatives who had gathered in a common cause to enhance the scope of eLearning in the Arab world," resumes Mr. Rajith Nair.

"The average spending on education is much higher in the Middle Eastern countries than in the Western world. This means that the Arabian countries are very attractive for investment.
