UAE nationals complete training at HSBC University

HSBC's second group of UAE nationals within the 'HSBC University' programme has recently completed six months of comprehensive training which included a combination of classroom events, business projects and attachments to various branches and departments at HSBC.
The HSBC University was officially launched in January 2004 to induct UAE nationals into a specific job role following an agreed training and development programme. By enrolling to the University, staff are given clear direction and pace for their chosen career and growth.
Colin Mann, Regional Manager Training, hosted a graduation ceremony that was also attended by managers, mentors, and trainers. Certificates were presented to all successful candidates In addition prizes for the 'Best Trainee Award' were given to two trainees - Samira Ali from Credit Management Unit and Hassan Al Najjar from Network Service Centre for being the highest achievers.
Shahnaz Al Mazem, Human Resources Manager for Emiratisation, praised the trainees and congratulated them on their achievements. She added: "We aim to hire the best and to provide UAE nationals the highest level of training, opening new vistas of opportunities in the Bank which further boosts our Emiratisation drive."
