ISO Certification for HR Department of Commercial Bank of Dubai

The HR Administration and HR Planning & Performance units of Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) have been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Certification by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Company Ltd.
While accepting the award he expressed, "It is an achievement on the part of HR to have strived to maintain their processes and procedures in line with the highest standards. For CBD quality is a continuous journey and this certification is a significant milestone on this journey".
Mr. Ibrahim Abdulla, Deputy General Manager, Administration and Finance reinforced the Management's commitment to maintain continuous improvement culture to achieve total employee satisfaction and also said that the ISO certification comes as an additional feather in the Bank's Quality cap, which has already garnered the Dubai Quality Award, Dubai Quality Appreciation Award, Dubai Service Excellence Scheme, Dubai Human Development Award and Human Resources Development Award from Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Services.
Mr. Jose Palatty, Manager HR Planning & Performance, while explaining the significance of this certification said, "T word 'ISO Certified' would mean adhering to certain standards by all of us as the word 'Quality' would have no meaning without 'u' and 'i' in it."
The function was attended by number of Bank's officials, representatives from Lloyd's and consultants from Ibtikar Management.
