Solidarity Bahrain selects Premia insurance solution from ICICI Infotech

Bahrain based Solidarity Islamic Insurance Co., a leading Takaful Insurance company in the Middle East, has selected Premia, the integrated insurance management solution from ICICI Infotech to run its operations.
Premia will power the company's mission of becoming the leading Takaful (Islamic Insurance) company in the region and drive its integration plans when it expands its operations to nine countries worldwide by mid-2006.
Says Mr. Sameer Al Wazzan, General Manager, General Takaful, Solidarity Bahrain: "Premia not only proved to be a superior solution but, more importantly, it met all our requirements with a view of the company's expansion plan in the global distribution network". When implemented, PREMIA will cater to 50 users across the organization, he pointed.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Hari Padmanabhan Executive Director, ICICI Infotech Ltd said: "Premia from ICICI Infotech is used by some of the most recognized names in the global insurance industry. Amongst the Takaful insurance companies, Premia has a dominant share in the regional market."
