Danube Building Materials continues expansion drive by opening 8th branch in Al Ain

UAE-based leading construction material supplier Danube Building Materials FZCO closed another successful year by opening its 8th branch in ten years in Al Ain.

"The current construction boom is spreading to the whole of the UAE and Danube Building Materials continues its strategic expansion drive by opening a new showroom to tap the booming demand for construction materials around the city of Al Ain," said Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Chairman of Danube Group of Companies,

The new outlet, located in the Sanaiya area in Al Ain, is spread across an area of 15,000 sq. ft. It adds to Danube's existing network of branches covering Dubai, Jebel Ali, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Muscat. The showroom was inaugurated by Mrs. Gulbanu Sajan in the presence of a large number of customers, invitees and staff.

The Danube Al Ain branch will stock an extensive range of building materials, including MDF, Wood, Veneers, Laminates, Block and Chip Boards. In addition, it will carry a large stock of Gypsum Ceiling Tiles, Boards and accessories for ceiling works. It will also have ready and varied stock of hardware, including materials from Europe, the Far East and China.

"Our new outlet will be a real boon to the many carpentry and woodwork factories located in Al Ain, as they can now easily source their requirements and be assured of quick delivery", said Mr. Sajan. "For the first time in Al Ain there will be a very large collection of metal laminates. We will make sure that our new showroom stocks all the latest international products."

Danube's Al Ain branch will also act as service center for the value-added services like Veneer pressing, Melamine Kitchen and Wardrobes and Shutters. These will be processed at the state-of-the-art Danube Dekor factory in Jebel Ali.

"We have seen the amazing expansion of the Garden City and we want to be a part of its development," said Mr. Anis Sajan, Managing Director of the Danube Group. "In addition to the tremendous growth in Dubai, we are excited about the dynamic projects announced by the Abu Dhabi Government. Al Ain Branch will be a key location for us over the coming years. In addition to our regular products, we will be offering a complete range of sanitary ware at attractive prices."

The Al Ain branch boasts a customer-friendly ambience. Customers can shop for over 10,000 products in the most comfortable environment, aided by fully computerized service.
The opening of the new showroom comes in the wake of a major move announced by Danube to open the Gulf's most modern kiln dry wood facility at Jebel Ali, as part of a Dhs. 17 million expansion, covering an area of 350,000 sq. ft. The facility will also house a state-of-the-art Warehouse cum Distribution Centre.
