Dubai sees increasing interest from Japan

Dubai's popularity as an ideal year-round business and leisure destination is increasing by leaps and bounds as the emirate attracts growing attention from new and established markets.
The visiting journalists were overly impressed with Dubai and the wonderful developments taking place besides what the emirate had to offer to the visitors from across the world.
They also visited the DTCM Head Office where they were received by department officials and presented with souvenirs. They were given a presentation on Dubai and briefed about the travel and tourism facilities.
In addition, they were given DTCM flyers and brochures.
The number of Dubai Hotel establishment guests from Japan recorded an 18 per cent increase in 2003 over the previous year. Their numbers increased significantly this year compared with the last year.
