Staggering footfall at Benetton this festive season

In the promotion, customers got up to 50 percent off on purchases. Benetton festive joy spread throughout their outlets in branches in Lamcy Plaza, Jumeirah Centre and ended at Deira City Centre.

"Keeping in tune with our tradition of giving something back to our customers, we decided to bring our Fairy promotion back for the second year running. All of us at Benetton are very happy to see many smiles and laughs in store," said Ajai Dayal, General Manager, Retail and Marketing, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, sole distributor for Benetton in the UAE

"Over the six days we saw a massive increase in both sales and footfall thanks to this promotion. Our City Centre branch alone saw a hundred per cent increase in sales. As well as this we witnessed something of a mad rush at all branches, with a whole day's footfall in just the promotional one hour, 'continued Dayal.

The event also saw presenters Tim Klassen, Rabiaa and Nashwa from the English and Arabic wings of Radio4 -104.8FM 107.8FM, presenting live in store, giving regular updates, interviews, contests and gave the opportunity for all to voice their messages on radio through a live feed from the store.

"We have a lots of great things planned for the coming year and hope all our customers have had a very happy festive season and wish them all the best for the new year," added Dayal.
