It will also provide follow up support to young entrepreneurs through the initial stages of setting up their own businesses."

"This is a key sector of our economy. Dubai is known the world over as 'The City of Gold'. We want to keep the tradition alive," added Al Janahi.

The eighteen-month, three semesters, full-time afternoon programme is designed to give students a balance of professional skills and knowledge needed to establish and manage their own successful jewellery business. The students will receive high quality entrepreneurial education and training at Dubai Women's College which is funded by Damas.
