  • PRESS RELEASE

Abu Dhabi National Hotels' tourism division Sunshine Tours is back in full swing for the winter season, offering new ways to enjoy a memorable Arabian experience.

For the new season, Sunshine Tours has expanded its already considerable portfolio of UAE tours and expeditions to include fishing trips, a sunset dhow cruise along the Abu Dhabi Corniche, dhow trips to Abu Dhabi's island retreats, and exciting 4X4 wadi safaris.

Sunshine Tours currently offers a wide range of expeditions including desert tours and safaris, shopping trips, and cultural trips all over the United Arab Emirates. Activities also range from sand skiing and dune basing in four-wheel drive vehicles to pleasant days out fishing in the UAE's clear ocean waters.

Ali Al Hosani, Tourism Division Manager at Sunshine Tours, said: "This year's tour season is up and running, and Sunshine Tours has once again responded to customer feedback to include a range of new tours.

"We have also renovated our existing desert facilities and traditional houses, added three more desert traditional houses, and upgraded the bedouin heritage camp and its facilities. This is part of our dedication to offering our customers the most authentic Arabian experience," added Hosani.

The new fishing expedition is an excellent opportunity to view miles of shimmering blue sea, marine life and coastline. Taking groups of up to six people, the trip includes all the fishing equipment needed as well as refreshments to quench the thirst generated by a relaxing day out in the sun.

The Sunset Dhow cruise takes passengers along the Corniche, and it is a great chance to view Abu Dhabi's fantastic waterfront with its public parks, fountains, and remarkable skyscrapers.

The exciting 4X4 wadi safari takes visitors to Al Ain's wonderful oasis to admire unique rock formations, gorges and streams. Visitors can dive into the cool waters of the oasis and enjoy a picnic lunch en route.

Sunshine Tours is also now offering group island dhow trips. The islands are rich in wildlife attractions, and are well known to bird watchers as sanctuaries for many exotic and rare species. The trips include a barbecue lunch and they head off in the morning, returning late afternoon. Prices are subject to group numbers and availability.

In addition to tours and excursions, Sunshine Tours can take care of all travel arrangements for tourists using its facilities, including visas, transport, as well as accommodation at one of ADNH's top-quality hotels.
