Etisalat sponsors top Arab media conference

The conference entitled "Arab Media in the Information Age" will be held from January 9 -11, 2005 in the Al Thurayya ballroom at the Beach Rotana hotel in Abu Dhabi.

During the conference, Mr. Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar, General Manager of eCompany- Etisalat's one-stop e-powerhouse Business Unit that provides Internet services and total e-solutions-will present a paper titled: 'Empowering Arabic media through the Internet'. The paper will focus on the current scenario regarding Arabic content on Internet and challenges from a technical and cultural context. His presentation also includes a recommendation on future roadmap for increasing the representation of Arabic content.
