During 2004, the company more than doubled its achievements in enrolment services for health and beauty professionals. Interestingly, these services were not provided only to employers in the U.A.E., but also to other spas and well-being centres in the Region and internationally.

During the last decade, the spa and well-being industry has been undergoing rapid growth and expansion. The number of well-being centres is increasing dramatically worldwide. This has triggered the demand for skilled, reliable and well-educated spa personnel, in the U.A.E. and globally.

SRI's latest recruitment figures show, it has exceeded its recruitment revenue target by 103% for 2003-2004 as compared to Year 2002-2003's 80%. With 70% of the 2003-2004 placements made in the UAE, the figures also point towards a growing interest in spa jobs in the country. SRI also provides tailor-made solutions for distinctly different spas including operating of spa properties, concept & design, opening support, product distribution and training.

As Daniella Russell, SRI Director, explained, "With fast development of the well-being industry in The UAE, and international spa brands and world-renowned spa product lines making their entry into the country, the demand for spa professionals is growing enormously." She also added, "at Spa Resources International, we understand the importance of employing the right professional in this specialist field and providing our clientele with high quality personnel".

SRI, during 2004, has recruited for the positions of Spa Therapists, Beauticians, Fitness Instructors, Beauty Tutors, Spa & Product Trainers, Spa/ Fitness/ Recreation Managers. Recent appointments by SRI within the UAE involve placements at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi (Dubai), Venus Spa (Ras Al Khaimah), Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa (Dubai) and the Dubai Ladies Club (Dubai), while international placements include Beauty & Diet (Jeddah, KSA), Blue Lagoon Spa (Riyadh, KSA), Fregate Private Island (Seychelles) and Lemuria Resort Praslin (Seychelles).

"We are more than satisfied with the achievements obtained in 2004," explained Daniella, concluding enthusiastically "higher targets are expected for 2005, as the industry maintains its growth."
