  • United Arab Emirates: Monday, January 10 - 2005 at 08:27
  • PRESS RELEASE

Emirates, the world's fastest-growing intercontinental airline, has installed a special hotline in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to provide hassle-free customer service during Hajj

Emirates' hotline number 800.8.971.487 is free of charge to its customers calling from Jeddah, Makkah and Medinah. It will operate round the clock for a full month, commencing 10th January. Starting with an initial staff of six or more call-takers, the line will be continuously monitored to provide efficient customer service, and more staff will be assigned if required.

With the new hotline, customers can quickly receive information relating to Emirates' flight schedules and bookings, make changes to their travel itineraries and book special services.

Salem Obaidalla, Emirates' Commercial Operations Manager UAE said: "The Hajj is a unique spiritual experience for Muslims. Emirates' special hotline during this period is yet another initiative to ensure that our customers are able to enjoy trouble-free travel. We would like to wish all the pilgrims Hajj Mabroor in advance."

In addition to the five weekly scheduled services between Dubai and Jeddah, Emirates will serve Hajj pilgrims with additional flights during this period. More than four million pilgrims are expected to gather in the holy cities of Makkah and Medinah this year.
