FedEx simplifies billing procedures for users

FedEx Express, the world's largest express transportation company, today announced the launch of FedEx Invoice Online (FIO) in the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait.

FedEx Invoice Online is a tool that will allow customers to manage the entire FedEx invoice cycle in a seamless, streamlined process through a web-based application. It will eliminate paperwork for customers while providing flexibility and a greater degree of control over the bill payment process, completing a suite of tools to enable customers to manage the entire shipping process online.

Available free of charge to all valid FedEx account holders* on www.fedex.com 24 hours a day, FIO uses cutting edge technology to maximize efficiency for FedEx customers. The tool will enable users to:

• Receive and view invoices within 24 hours of issue
• Track the status of invoices
• File electronic copies of invoices and print out hard copies in a variety of formats
• Receive notification via email of new and outstanding invoices etc.
• Eliminate all paper-based steps to receive and internally route invoices
