Customers of PetroNet fuel cards (which are purchased and used for fuel at any fuel station in Kuwait) will soon be able to pay for their cards through their mobile phones when ordering from home, the head office, or even when ordering online.
By joining together the two innovative products -PetroNet's cash-replacing fuel cards and M-Net's cutting-edge mobile payment service - the two young and inventive companies have created a pair of product and service that is the first in the region.
'With our innovative method of payment and PetroNet's innovative product it seemed only natural for us to join forces and offer an all-around innovative cashless method of payment and product. Through mobile payment, PetroNet will be directly connected to their customers, and as a result service their customers better' said M-Net Sales and Marketing Director Mr. Khalid Al Roudan.
Commenting on the agreement, PetroNet Commercial Manager Mr. Ahmed Al Munayes said, 'after seeing the seamless integration of M-Net's technology into our sales system and then testing the service, we realized that mobile-payment will bring added convenience to our clients. We are confident that our customers will appreciate this new exciting service.'
Al Munayes added that PetroNet is always keen to provide the best of services and introduce and new methods of payments to its customers by escalading its partnership with innovative Kuwaiti companies such as M-Net.
According to Mr. Al Roudhan, retailers, restaurants, and delivery services in Kuwait are also excited by the new service as it presents an innovative payment option for their customers. The service has been of particular interest to businesses that are committed to staying in-tune with their customers' needs such as PetroNet, as it is another differentiator over the competition.
Mobile payment enables customers to pay through their mobile phones in a fast, reliable, convenient, and secure manner using advanced technology based on linking the user's mobile phone to their bank account. Mobile payment services allow customers to conveniently pay at various points-of-sale using only their mobile phones. It also enables retailers, service providers, restaurants, and home delivery services to be 'always connected' to their customers, ultimately offering the widest possible choice and flexibility of payment.
