DSF website is a big hit
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, January 13 - 2005 at 08:13
- PRESS RELEASE
Catering to the huge Keralite population in the country, the glamourous, re-vamped version of the DSF website has launched a link in Malayalam this week.
An additional exciting feature of the website just introduced is the DSF game. The DSF website in cooperation with LG provides this interactive game for all visitors of the site who have the chance to win fabulous prizes worth the points they score from LG stores. For example, those scoring 100 points will be entitled to purchase anything equivalent to that price from the sponsoring company's showroom.
With the rules of the games laid out in the "Competitions" section of the site, each participant has the opportunity to collect some gaming points, print the score he gets from the website and take it to the LG store. The game is based on accumulating LG points by spending virtual LG dollars. The player who scores the highest number of points will be deemed the winner and his/her name will be announced by the end of the week. The winner gets exciting LG products.
With DSF's quest for introducing new concepts and improving on the old ones every year, the re-launch of the website has already proved popular with surfers thanks to its user-friendly format, great visual appeal and the search engine that makes surfing easier and faster.
A host of new concepts besides the Arabic and Malayalam link and the game have been introduced of which the dynamic media center and the section on awards are but a few.
The site is proving to be a valuable source not only for the people on visit to be better informed about DSF activities, but also for the residents of Dubai to be better acquainted with the myriad of daily activities during this month-long festivities. The "What's on" section with the daily calendar of events is especially helpful to the public to keep abreast of and plan ahead for DSF activities.
The website contains a colossal amount of information on every aspect of the festival from background information on and getting about Dubai under "Discover Dubai" and shopping to historical tours, and entertainment under "City Guide". This section also includes a comprehensive listing of hotels, phone numbers etc. throughout Dubai to local climate, healthcare, transport and visa procedures, complete with listings of phone numbers.
With competitions galore during the Dubai Shopping Festival, check out what you can participate in on the website's 'Different Concepts' section. To find out if you are the winner of a competition all you have to do is click on the prizes section updated daily. There is a separate area dedicated to various DSF Patron, Key and Support Sponsors with information on their company profiles, offers, logos and commercials.
The Dubai Shopping Festival already in full swing will run until February 12, 2005.
