Acer announces biggest ever promotion to mark ten years of Dubai Shopping Festival

During the month-long shopping extravaganza, Acer will be handing out "Scratch and Win" cards with every purchase of any Acer LCD monitor or digital projector, with more than 2000 prizes up for grabs, including a trip for two to Switzerland, Acer notebooks and MP3 players.

For people who want the latest multimedia home technology, Acer is offering its Aspire RC950 desktop PC bundled with high performance Altec Lansing speakers, an all-in-one Canon printer, and 20" LCD monitor. The model has seven modes of multimedia enjoyment, including internet radio and digital TV.

The Aspire RC950 offers users a one-stop home entertainment experience. As well as an advanced personal computer, the RC950 combines the functions of a VCD/DVD player, radio, television and CD/MP3 player.

The Aspire RC950 features a remote control, media buttons on the system panel, and keyboard hotkeys - providing easy navigation between the PC and entertainment modes. Acer has also recently announced the Middle East availability of its new range of digital cameras. A digital camera will be given away with every purchase of one of its Ferrari 3400 notebook PCs, the first mobile computer in the Middle East with 64-bit processing. The CR-5130, CS-5530 and CR-6530 digital cameras have between five and six megapixles per inch and come with a 64MB SD card.
