Rumaihi to develop World Trade Centre Mall

DTZ Bahrain, the firm of international property advisers who have been appointed to let and manage the Bahrain World Trade Centre (BWTC), has appointed Duaij Al Rumaihi as an Associate Director with effect from 2nd January 2005.
Making the announcement, Robin Williamson, General Manager of DTZ, said: "DTZ is thrilled to add such an experienced retail manager to its team. I feel sure that his expertise will be very valuable as we build and develop the retail outlet housed within the BWTC to become the Gulf's leading retail centre."
Mr Rumaihi brings to the position 6 years of experience in the retail industry, having been a member of the founding management team for Seef Mall in 1999. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centres, a Director on the Board of the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres, member in the Chartered Institute of Marketing and founder of the Bahrain Shopping Centres Sub-Committee of the Tourism Committee in the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce.
DTZ real estates services company was the first international property advisor to be established in the Gulf with an office in Bahrain in 1975, and has recently re-established its offices in Manama following its appointment to manage the Bahrain World Trade Centre (BWTC). The appointment was made due to DTZ's proven highly sophisticated and successful strategies, utilised world wide, in serving investors, occupiers and developers across all sectors of the real estate market as well as its proven experience across a highly sophisticated global client base.
The BWTC, which was announced on the 1st of November 2004, is set to be one of Bahrain's most spectacular landmarks housing an extended retail centre which will double the size of the existing Bahrain Commercial Complex mall, as well as and offer 51,000 sq. mtrs. of prime office space in the towers which will each be 50 storeys high.
DTZ is tasked with the promotion and marketing of the BWTC and managing its development as the leading trade and retail centre in Bahrain after its construction, which is due to be completed in the summer of 2006.
