Standard Chartered official bank for world's biggest gold extravaganza

Standard Chartered Bank is the official bank for the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Groups' (DGJG) biggest ever Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) promotion.

The DGJG has produced a 22 carat 10th anniversary commemorative gold coin for the festival that sells for AED 250 and enters buyers into a raffle with total winnings of 120 kilos of gold.

Standard Chartered is supporting the promotion which will see weekly prizes of five kilos of gold during the festival and a single mega prize of 100 kilos - the world's biggest gold raffle.

The bank is also involved in a daily prize raffle during DSF, which will see one kilo of gold won daily by shoppers who spend more than AED 500 on gold from participating jewellers.

With visitor numbers expected to top 3.2 million the 10th DSF is on course to be the busiest shopping festival on record.
