Fujitsu Siemens Computers launches new PRIMERGY Blade Server for the dynamic data center

The new servers target customers who need servers with a high packing density, fault tolerance, and simple and efficient administration in their data centers - all qualities that are offered by the PRIMERGY BX600 blade server system. The latest Intel Xeon processors generation used in the new 2-way server blade ensure high performance and future-proofness, a requirement in today's server market.

Powered by a new chipset and processor, the new BX620 S2 blade server delivers additional performance and offers ease of use and management for both 32-bit and 64-bit applications. The new architecture of the dual blade server with DDR2-400 main memory modules and 800 MHz front-side-bus, offers higher bandwidth and greater throughput than its predecessors. The PRIMERGY BX600 blade server chassis offers space for up to 10 of the new dual S2 server blades.
