Emirates Bank and meBANK scoop up Superbrands awards third year in a row

For three consecutive years, leading financial services conglomerate Emirates Bank Group has become the proud recipient of two Superbrands awards for its flagship Emirates Bank brand and its mass retail banking brand, meBANK.
Mr. Sulaiman Al Mazroui, Chief Manager Group Affairs of Emirates Bank said, "It is a great honour to be awarded the Superbrands accolade again this year. The past year has seen a re-launch of the Emirates Bank brand with a more modern approach to various elements of the brand. These prestigious awards are a recognition of our aggressive branding and marketing initiatives."
"It has always been our aim to be at the top of our game, maintaining our solid professional image combined with a strategic vision for growth. To be recognized by Superbrands only strengthens us in our aim to always remain one step ahead." Al Mazroui added.
Mr. Louis Scotto, General Manager Retail Banking Emirates Bank said: "The incredible hard work put in towards building and strengthening the meBANK brand continues to pay off. Our status as a Superbrand is something we cherish and it also encourages us to continue to strive for excellence and to stay true to our brand."
"Superbrand's worldwide philosophy is that a brand normally takes at least five years to stand a chance of becoming a Superbrand. meBANK became one of the top 100 Superbrand's in the UAE in less than 18 months when it won its first award in 2003." Scotto added.
The prestigious Superbrand awards were received by Mr. Sulaiman Al Mazroui and Mr. Louis Scotto at a VIP event, recently held at the Sphinx Terraces. Mr Scotto was one of the three key speakers at the event and spoke at length about the various branding initiatives taken by Emirates Bank and the emphasis that the group places in building its brands and delivering on the brand values.
