DCCI: New representative Committees for the Business Groups

Six new representative committees of the Business Groups are likely to be elected soon at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).
The Chamber has established the business groups, according to economic activities, to allow members to be more involved in its activities and to have bigger role in identifying major problems and issues, and in shaping economic policies and legislation. It pursued to activate the links amongst members and study their suggestions and recommendations related to organizing and developing their sectors as well as working as a link between them and the concerning authorities in and out of UAE.
Mr. Abdulrahman Ghanem Al Mutaiwee, Director-General of DCCI stated that the Business Groups is an aspect of the new strategy which relies on a real will to enhance its performance and responding to the necessities of the modernism in order to extend better services to the business and finance society.
"The Chamber provided the business community with the opportunity to contribute in developing their sectors and enhance an environment of cooperation and communication amongst the members of each business group", Mr. Mutaiwee said, "It also assists in overcoming the obstacles that face the business sectors in order that enlarges the volume of trade in all economic sectors".
