She will join a panel of international women leaders in addressing a large gathering of Middle East women professionals.

The conference will be organized by Datamatix at the Burj Al Arab, Dubai UAE on 8th March, 2005 on the occasion of International Women's Day. It is an event that is dedicated to enhancing the leadership capabilities of women professionals in the Middle East.

Dr. Deisi Noeli Weber Kusztra, President of World Family Organization was born in Brazil and once acted as advisor of international agencies such as WHO and World Bank. Joining her as key note speakers are Ms. Miet Smet, Minister of State Belgium and Member of European Parliament, Dr. Elizabeth Lane Lawley, Professor, Rochester Institute of Technology UK, Dr. Saida Agrebi, President, Association Tunisienne des Mères (ATM) Tunisia and Dr Elise Collins Shields, CommonWell Institute International, Inc.

This year, the conference is centered on the theme of a men v/s women debate and whether men and women have different styles of management.

According to popular ideas about gender, men and women are not just different - they actually come from separate planets. Conventional wisdom suggests that when it comes to leadership, men want results and take action, while women favor relationships and a collaborative decision process. Women are considered to have more social qualities - they are perceived to be emotional and supporting whereas men are assumed to be - independent, assertive, and competitive.

However women will need to explore both sets of skills - social and competitive to keep their businesses competitive. The future will require leaders who can seamlessly integrate both masculine and feminine styles of leadership.

Woibex allows women to assess their current capabilities and expand into their potential as strong, integrated leaders. In addition to the men v/s. women debate, the one day conference includes sessions for women on effective communication strategies, personal branding and marketing, decision making and developing a vision on technology.

Speaking about the event, Ali Al Kamali, Managing Director, Datamatix said "Top leadership is still essentially male dominated, and the number of women in top positions remains negligible worldwide."

"With the Woibex conferences, our aim is to enable women professionals in the Middle East for leadership positions - in their business and community. Women have the potential to play an important role in the regional economy and the 7th Woibex Women in Business Conference aims to deliver the skills required by women to fulfill this role."

Successfully organized for the past six years, the Woibex Conferences are designed for experienced women business leaders in upper-middle and senior levels of management, as well as emerging and successful entrepreneurs. The event includes informative presentations, open discussions, Q&A sessions and provides valuable benchmarking and networking opportunities for the conference delegates.
