Etisalat joins Al Ain airshow

Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat) today announced it has signed a sponsoring agreement with the Al Ain Aerobatics Show and Federation Aeronautique Internationale World Grand Prix.
On behalf of the airshow, Lt Colonel Pilot Mohammad Bin Barrak Al Daheri said, "We are pleased to welcome Etisalat as a Gold Sponsor of this relatively new, but exciting event. Etisalat has a long history of supporting causes and events that have become part of our culture in the UAE. It is gratifying to us that Etisalat has lent its prestige, national stature and enthusiastic support to an event that is attracting world wide attention to Al Ain."
Mr. Nasser bin Abboud Al Falasi, General Manager of Etisalat in Al Ain, said: "We are pleased to support this World Championship for Air Aerobatics in Al Ain. We regard it as a privilege to support this global festival, which reflects the civilized nature of the UAE. It is our duty to the country's institutions and individuals to bolster the city's image and leverage its strength by organizing and hosting such prestigious events."
As the national telecoms provider, Etisalat sponsors charitable projects and local community programs around the country. "The Al Ain Airshow is a natural fit for our Corporate Citizenship Program. Etisalat is proud to be involved in bringing such a first class event to the region, and to the many airshow fans who will attend from across the country," said Ahmed Bin Ali, Manager of Public Relations.
Etisalat will staff a booth on the airshow grounds where it will welcome the public to visit and receive information about telecoms products and services.
Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and the UAE Air Force and Air Defence are organizing the event in cooperation with the World Air Sports Federation.
