Dubai Internet City will set up a high-tech centre in Kochi, India, at a cost of USD348m, reported Gulf News. Smart City will eventually cover 400 acres comprising a grant of 100 acres free, 200 acres at market value and a further 100 acres on which stands an existing technical centre. The development is expected to create 100,000 new jobs for the region.
