USD408m plan for UAE

Plans for the implementation of a USD408m programme for improving the socio-economic infrastructure of the northern emirates are to be finalised soon, reported Khaleej Times. The programme is an attempt to solve problems such as drought, environmental degradation, slower commercial development, lack of healthcare facilities and a shortage of housing.
