Qatar next for FTA

Qatar is considering a free trade agreement with the US, according to Qatar's Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Muhammad bin Jassim Al Thani. GCC member Bahrain has recently agreed to an FTA with the US, raising objections from Saudi Arabia. Other GCC members such as Kuwait, Oman and the United Arab Emirates are planning to negotiate similar deals.
