eCompany facilitates online subscription for Al Shamil

eCompany, Etisalat's one-stop e-powerhouse Business Unit that provides Internet services and total e-solutions, today announced that customers could subscribe online to the high-speed broadband Internet access service- Al Shamil- using the Web site www.etisalat4me.ae.

This would enable customers to apply for the service online without having to be physically present at an Etisalat Office or Business Center.

In order to use this facility, customers would have to be existing Etisalat customers who have an E4ME user ID with a post-paid account linked to it. Post-paid accounts, whose usage charges are paid through monthly bills as opposed to prepaid accounts like Wasel mobile phone lines, could be a GSM, landline telephone, or Internet account. Customers who do not have an E4ME user ID can also register to the site by visiting the online Etisalat branch www.etisalat4me.ae.

Using a friendly interface and easy-to-follow application steps, customers can now apply for Al Shamil from the convenience of their homes. Customers who face any difficulty in processing the application form can call a toll free number "800-3-463" for assistance.

After successfully completing the online application form and placing their order, customers can always call eCompany's Internet Help Desk at 800 6 100 for further inquires and follow up. The Help Desk is open 24/7 to receive customer queries and solve their problems.

Announcing the new service, Abdulla Hashim, Senior Manager eCompany said: "It has always been our endeavour to look for new and innovative ways to increase customer convenience. The provisioning of this online system to get a new Al Shamil connection is indicative of that objective. Customers will also be able to use the E4ME site to check the status of their application with the help of a reference number given at the end of the application process thereby keeping them informed every step of the way."

Customers can choose from four Al Shamil packages depending on their needs. These packages are Al Shamil 256K for Light Usage, Al Shamil 512K for Moderate Usage ,Al Shamil 1M for Active Usage and Al Shamil 2M for Heavy Usage.

In addition, all eCompany Internet account holders, including Dial-Up, Al Shamil, and BusinessOne customers will be able to reset their lost/forgotten Internet Passwords for free, using the same site. eCompany has waived the AED 50 fee charged earlier for resetting of the Internet Passwords from customers who had requested for the same service offline through Etisalat offices.
