The professional pilots of the Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team will perform live aerial shows in the Kingdom three major cities before the astounded eyes of thousands of spectators.
Since this great event was first announced to the public, the offices of the Saudi Aviation Club were turned into a hive of activity in preparation for this historic event that will transform the Saudi sky into an exciting aerobatic flying theater.
More than 30 persons are involved in the preparation of this great event that required the organizers to obtain all of the necessary permits from the competent Ministries, the Emirates and the Civil Aviation Department.
Within this context, Captain Ahmad El-Johani, General Manager of the Saudi Aviation Club said: 'This is a very big event and it is the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia. It is thus completely normal that we create a team of this magnitude that is in charge of working on the provision of the necessary permits and ensuring the follow-up of the other logistical issues.'
El-Johani also added: 'Every possible effort was made in order to guarantee the success of this great event and support the first momentous activity of the Saudi Aviation Club. We therefore benefited from the assistance of the competent Ministries and in particular of the support of HRH Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, the Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General Honorary President of the Saudi Aviation Club, HRH Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of the Interior, HRH Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz the Governor of Riyadh, HRH Prince Abdul Majid Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Mecca and HRH Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of the Eastern Province. We also benefited from the continuous support of HRH Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the Saudi Aviation Club, the governors of the provinces and the mayors, the Air Forces, the traffic police, the Saudi Red Crescent, the Civil Defense, the Civil Aviation Authority and the border guards and the Saudi Airlines.'
The preparations for the arrival of the Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team in Al Khobar, the first stop of their Saudi tour, have started. The aircrafts itinerary has already been drawn up in cooperation with the Civil Aviation authority in the three regions.
The Flying Bulls breathtaking shows are known for their precision and accuracy. The professional pilots fly classical propeller aircrafts wing-to-wing at very high speed. This has been the team's signature since its creation in the sixties, when its history began before it became the Flying Bulls Aerobatics Team in 1999.
The pilots' first performance will take place over the cornice of the city of Al-Khobar on January 31, 2005. They will then head to Riyadh city to perform aerial tricks over the Saker Al Jazeera Museum on February 2, 2005 before ending their tour in Jeddah, over the cornice of the city on February 4, 2004.

Under the sponsorship of HRH Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the Aviation Club, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host a unique first-time event in January and February 2005.
